FREQUENT QUESTIONS
- 01
At DoReWe we have no enrolment limit and welcome anyone who would like to play an instrument regardless of their musical talent, prior knowledge or age. We take a practical approach to teaching, which means that students learn music theory together with the instrument and apply the acquired theoretical knowledge directly in practice. As much as possible, we also incorporate singing with learning instruments.
- 02
Wherever there is interest! At DoReWe, we use portable electric pianos, which allows us great mobility. We offer lessons at primary and secondary schools, kindergartens, your place of work, etc. We are also always adding new locations. Register your interest and we will endevaour to come to your area soon.
- 03
Definitely. As they say, practice makes perfect! We recommend playing the instrument at home for at least 20 minutes every day. For this purpose, younger students receive a special notebook for motivation.
- 04
At DoReWe focus on a holistic approach when teaching instruments. Very popular is teaching in small groups, where students motivate and encourage each other. Group teaching is also more affordable.
- 05
At the end of the school year DoReWe issues certificates to all students who complete the year. If students would like to take exams to obtain national or international certificates, they should discuss with their teacher and together we will find an appropriate solution.
- 06
At DoReWe, we offer students who do not (yet) have a piano at home the possibility to rent a smaller keyboard for 18 euros per month and a large keyboard for 37 euros per month, which they can also purchase at the end of the school year.
- 07
For children who are at a more advanced level in their piano playing (or those who have a strong desire to progress faster) we look to support them and find the most suitable solution at DoReWe. For example, we move them to an older / more advanced group, provide additional lessons including one-on-one tuition, etc.
- 08
Absolutely. During the school year, we organize several smaller performances where family members and friends can follow the child's progress. We also try to provide all children with at least two larger performances, including the December Christmas-New Year's concert, the spring DoReWe Family Day concert, and the June final performance. Singing and musicals students also have the opportunity to perform in smaller and larger musical productions throughout the year.
- 09
Each child is a story for him/herself and performance is not compulsory. In our experience, it is often the case that students who are shy at first, gain the most in their confidence through opportunities to perform, as longs as we let them do so in their own time.

We’ve made tuition payments as easy as playing your favorite song.
You can choose the payment plan that suits you best:
in 10 equal monthly installments (from September to June),
in 2 installments per year (September and February) – with a 3% discount off yearly tuition,
or once per year (in September) – and get a 5% discount off yearly tuition.
All payments are handled exclusively through Stripe, a safe, fast, and easy platform for managing tuition. Stripe automatically processes recurring payments (kind of like a standing order), so you don’t have to worry about making each payment manually.
When you enroll, you’ll receive an email with all the payment instructions. And if anything’s unclear, we at DoReWe are always happy to help!

Stripe is a modern and secure online payment platform that we use to manage tuition payments. When you first enter your card details, Stripe stores them securely – we don’t have access to them, so your information is fully protected.
Payments are charged automatically on the 1st of each month for the current month, which means everything runs smoothly and worry-free – just like a standing order.
You have full control over your payments. By clicking the MY ACCOUNTS button on our website, you can access your personal Stripe portal, where you can view all payments, download invoices, or update your card details.
Simple, transparent, and hassle-free – that’s Stripe!
FREQUENT QUESTIONS - Stripe

Stripe is a global payment platform that processes billions of transactions for businesses worldwide. Stripe enables encrypted, secure payment processing and meets the highest security standards in the industry (PCI DSS Level 1 and encryption technologies). In Slovenia, in addition to larger companies, Stripe is also used by many other music and dance schools in Ljubljana and the surrounding area.

Monthly tuition payments will be made automatically on the 1st of each month for the current month . A few days before the charge, all students will receive a reminder email so that you can update your payment information, ensure sufficient funds on your card, or contact us if necessary.
The exception is the payment of tuition fees in September, as the timetables are not yet final on September 1. Therefore, the payment of the September tuition fee is generally made at the beginning of the second half of September , when students have already had their first week of classes.

Yes. Stripe is one of the most secure and globally recognized payment processing platforms (used by Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Zara, etc.). Card information is not stored with DoReWe , but only with Stripe. Stripe is PCI-DSS Level 1 certified , which is the highest security standard in the industry. Payments via Stripe are also regulated by the rules of the European Union.

That's right. As in previous years, the tuition fee (taking into account vacations and holidays when classes are canceled) is calculated into monthly installments so that the tuition fee is the same every month, regardless of whether the classes in a given month are 3, 4 or 5 weeks, so the monthly tuition fee installment will always be the same. The exception is any one-time purchases (e.g. DoReWe notebooks, t-shirts, concert tickets) which will be charged additionally.
An exception is also a change in enrollment (e.g. enrolling a student in an additional program, changing lessons from group to individual lessons, longer agreed absence, etc.) - in that case, we will adjust your payments via standing order accordingly.

In the rare case of an overpayment (e.g. at the end of the month, due to unforeseen circumstances on the part of the mentor, a lesson is cancelled and cannot be replaced), we will of course arrange refunds to your account in accordance with the cancellation policy or, in agreement with you, we will take the overpayment into account in the following month.

Starting with the new school year, all payments will be made via Stripe and no other payment method will be possible.
The only exceptions are payments for half-yearly tuition fees (September-January) and full-year tuition fees (September-June). For these amounts, fees via Stripe are high, so we allow payment directly to our bank account via a sent invoice with a QR code.

The Stripe payment system works great, but unfortunately it does not have phone support for end users. Therefore, in case of problems, please call us at 051 223 221 or write to us at info@dorewe.com .
