DoReWe House Band

We started the new year full of musical inspiration and by creating a new program, the DoReWe House Band, and its new line-up, composed of our promising students: drummers Filip and Jakob, pianist Oliver, singer Špela, and guitarist Nejc.

The young musicians are already practicing diligently and preparing a real musical treat together. Their first debut performance will take place at the upcoming Family day concert, where they will premiere in front of an audience.

You are warmly invited to join us and experience what can happen when talent, dedication, and a shared love of music come together.

Literary evening at DoReWe

On Friday, January 9, a literary-musical evening took place at the DoReWe premises, organized by KUD Logos. The guest of the evening was Prešeren Award recipient Brane Senegačnik, who presented his poetry collection Mystical Landscapes. Through his interpretation of spirituality in art, he guided the audience into a world of deep and thoughtful poetry.

The event was further enriched by music. A special atmosphere was created by our drum mentor Janez Sagadin and saxophonist Cene Resnik, who brought the poetry even more vividly to life.

The evening was a beautiful example of the intertwining of music and literature and an inspiring cultural experience for all visitors.

#37 Viewing of the Musical Colorland on Mother’s Day

On Mother’s Day, Wednesday, March 25, at 6:00 PM at the Kamnik cultural center, you are invited to the premiere of the new original children’s and youth musical Colourland, created by the DoReWe Music Center in collaboration with the cultural association Naš oder and the Ana Ballet School, in partnership with the Lucky Kiddo brand. This special Lucky Kiddo premiere promises an unforgettable evening and brings a few surprises for the audience as well.

Following last year’s musical, which impressed audiences, the creative team now presents a new magical story.

Colourland is made up of three lands: Yellow land, full of laughter and sunshine; Blue land, ruled by peace and wisdom; and Red land, the land of courage and strength. Borders between the lands are guarded, and crossing them is strictly forbidden.

Lila is a purple girl who lives in the Blue Land, and because she is not entirely blue, she doesn't feel she truly belongs. While others follow the rules, she carries within herself something no one understands. When the mysterious Painter entrusts her with an ancient prophecy about a being who will unite the divided world, a question awakens within her: could it be that she is the key to change?

On her adventure, Lila ventures beyond the forbidden borders, into the unknown. But the more she discovers the world, the more she discovers herself.

Colourland is a touching and visually rich musical about being different, belonging, and the power we carry within ourselves. The Mother’s Day premiere is a wonderful opportunity to experience this new, original musical story by our young creators together with your loved ones. Don’t miss this special event!

You are invited!

On Saturday, March 21, at 6:00 PM, the Kamnik cultural center will once again resonate with music that brings generations together. The traditional spring concert, DoReWe Family day, will, for the fourth year in a row, share the love of music and family with its audience.

On stage will be the students of the DoReWe Music Center, their family members, and mentors, presenting a varied program—from gentle duets, pop hits, and piano classics to a rock band and even songs from musicals. Come and join us!
