DO RE WE NEWS

Extended singing program: Jazz, Pop, Opera

So far, at DoReWe, we have focused on teaching piano and singing in various combinations, especially in combination with each other. This has also become our most popular program. With much pleasure, we announce that with the arrival of new mentors we have further expanded our singing programme. Therefore all those who have been on waiting lists will be able to get singing lessons from March onwards. Any additional candidates equally welcome. Whether you are a beginner, somewhere in between, or an experienced singer. Whether you lean towards jazz style, opera arias, or pop tunes, with professional support from our mentors, we will help you develop and strengthen your singing abilities. Join us and discover the magical world of singing!

Carnival and joyful melodies

As every year, February brought us the carnival revelry and masquerade! As the streets filled with colourful costumes and laughter, the carnival atmosphere was similarly present in our classrooms. Some students dressed up in princesses, cowboys, mice, while others surprised us with completely new characters, such as astronauts, Wednesday girl and alike.

The carnival celebration during our music lessons was not only a fantastic opportunity for fun and socializing, but also a great learning experience, as students merged two areas simultaneously - showcasing creativity in both, musical and artistic fields.

February thus became the month where music meets masquerade, and creativity merges with fun. At DoReWe we are proud of our students who, with their dedication and passion, created an unforgettable carnival time.

Long live childrens' imagination and creativity!

FANTASTIC TIP

#16 Classical music can improve your mood and the quality of your sleep

We all know that listening to classical music can be an excellent way to relax and unwind. But did you know it can also positively impact your mood?

Research has shown that listening to classical music can help reduce stress and anxiety and may even enhance cognitive function.

So, if you're feeling a bit down on these long winter days or need to focus on a task, indulge in your favorite classical melodies and simply enjoy!

Studies have also shown that classical music can improve the quality of your sleep. People who listened to classical music before bedtime fell asleep faster and slept more soundly than those who listened to other genres of music or none at all.

So, if you're having trouble sleeping, try lying down and listening to Bach or Beethoven in the background. It might help you get a better rest and feel better.

SONATA FROM THE STREET

Our student, 7-year-old Matic, said:

"At DoReWe, it's fun to play the piano. I learn a lot of new songs, and we play a lot of musical games. We have very friendly teachers.

Sometimes it's a bit awkward on stage, but together with friends, you know we'll all perform well, and our parents will be really proud of us.

At all the concerts, it's really fun at the end because then we hang out with our parents and friends and eat lots of chocolates."

LA LA QUIZ

Which musical instrument is often included in carnival processions and parties?

a) Guitar

b) Trumpet

c) Accordion

d) Piano

Hint: We don't currently offer this instrument in our program. Would you perhaps be interested to try it out in the future?
